- Repaired any damaged wood siding.
- Removed & replaced all rotten soffit, dental blocks, & gutter
system. If you drive by this location, look up at the edge of the roof/soffit
area. You will notice decorative, curving-type, wooden structures called
"dental blocks". When we initially inspected the property,
we discovered these dental blocks to be rotten and in need of replacement.
These trim pieces (dental blocks) are a discontinued item and are no
longer available.
- The dental blocks you see there now were fabricated (as an exact duplicate
of the originals) in Smith Custom Builders' wood shop.
- Repaired exterior crown molding.
- The special gutter system behind the wood surrounding the building
was leaking and had to be removed & repaired as needed.

- Removed old paint from building -- extremely delicate and tedious
process to remove paint in order to preserve as much original wood as
possible; painted entire exterior of structure.
- All light colored areas on this project are solid stone; we sandblasted
these areas & refinished.
- Rebuilt all windows & replaced antique glass in windows restoring
them to working condition.
- Repaired roof leaks as needed
- Rebuilt cafeteria, installed new chair railings, molding, and refinished
hardwood floor
- Relocated high dollar, approx. three foot in diameter, chandeliers
